Hi Anne! Just wanted to share the compliments we got from the vet and our party guests over the weekend.
Everyone loved him and he was so good! No jumping on anyone. The vet said he’s one of their favorite puppies. He also said Freddy is a super chill puppy and big for his age- weighing 55 lbs today. They did a DNA test of 39 genetic traits as part of his first visit. No health predispositions showed up. Yay! Not that you didn’t already know that. It also said his weight will be 86lbs, but the vet thinks he’s going to 100🤣. We don’t care! Thank you again for our amazing dog! We couldn’t love him anymore 💗! |

My wife and I purchased a golden puppy we named Rudy from the Goren's family farm, and the experience was outstanding! Anne was very good with letting us visit the puppies whenever we wanted, and she always let us choose a time to visit that worked best for us. The communication was great, and she kept us updated on the puppies during the whole process. We have now had Rudy for about a month, and he is just a bundle of fun! Proud to say that he is just about house trained; haven't had any accidents in over a week, and when he has to go potty he goes right to the door! Very smart little guy, which is a trait of this great breed. If we decide in the future to get another golden puppy, we will definitely go back to the Gorenz's!

I know you haven't received any updates from us forever. Well where do I start? Copper is great! Still has a little...... I mean a lot of puppy left in him. But we have a great time. Last fall he rode in the tractor, combine, or semi I was running all fall. And now he goes to do chores almost every day. He never really has chewed up anything he wasn't supposed to, and I like that. His hair is getting sooo long and looks great. He's a fast learner and is loving! The only trouble I have with him is getting him to get in the truck when its time to go. He just wants to keep playing and running, but we are working on that. We are really happy with him and would like to thank you and your family. I am attaching pics and a few things that Miranda wrote a few months ago about him. -Chris Carson
Cooper has been the perfect addition to our home! After loosing our Great Pyrenees I was hesitant to get a different breed, he was so laid back and the thought of a puppy running around made me a little nervous. I must say that I am very impressed with Cooper, he has his “puppy moments” but overall he is very laid back! Not to mention he is a fast learner and is always looking for way to please.
Cooper loves to go with Chris to do his chores in the morning. We have had a few trips to the river and he is becoming very fond of the water and swimming! He is awesome with other dogs and children, my niece is almost a year and he lets her pull his ears and tail, while he just lays there and takes it! Thank you for such a great dog and experience!! Nothing could brighten my day like his welcome home cuddles! -Miranda Shuler

Hello, Just wanted to write with a 1 year update on our golden puppy we got from your family. We named her Josi and she has fit in great, she is super smart, sweet and loved. Hello Anne! It's been a long time but I am finally getting you some pictures of our dog, Daisy, that we bought from you in August '09. I do have to say that she is the BEST DOG. Our family just loves her to pieces and our oldest, Chesney is going to show her in 4-H this summer at the Peoria County show. She is practicing and going to obedience clinics with her every Friday evening and the trainer mentions each time that she is Extremely smart! I thought she was a smart dog (usually retrievers are) but it really shocks me how quick she learns. I have always been raised around labs and still love those dogs too, but I will say that our golden is amazing. Shortly after we purchased Daisy from you, I found out that I was pregnant with our 4th child. I was a little concerned with having a very young dog and a baby at the same time, not to mention 3 other young children too. Our son was born in April 2010 and Daisy and him are bestest friends!! He is pulling up and cruising but not the furniture....he uses Daisy! She just takes all the baby abuse and goes back for more. Anyways, I just wanted you to know how happy we are with her and enjoy her so, so much! I hope all is well with your family and hope to hear from you sometime. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

We were delighted to welcome Rose (after Derrick of course!) into our family this July. She joins our 7-year old golden Wrigley and has blended right in to the family. I have always said I would never get any other breed than a Golden and now I would add that I would never go anywhere else other than Anne and the Gorenz Family. I don't know if it is possible for litters to take on the personalities of their breeders, but we have a very laid-back and well adjusted little puppy at home and I think it had a lot to do with starting life on the Gorenz Family Farm. Expanding our family with our new puppy was a true pleasure from start to finish. Our thanks to Anne and we would whole-heartedly recommend this experience to anyone.

The day we decided to buy our Golden Retriever puppy was the most wonderful day! Anne and her family allowed us to come to her farm to view all of the puppies when they were only 3 weeks old. We were given time to visit with all of the puppies, and their mom. It was great to see how well cared for the dogs were, and how knowledgable Anne was about the care and keeping of the Goldens. We were so anxious to bring home the newest member of our family. While we waited for the puppies to be weaned, Anne kept in touch with us via Email. Letting us know that the puppies were happy and healthy meant a lot to us! Overall, the entire purchasing experience was enjoyable and easy. We would definitely go to Anne and her family the next time we choose to buy a Golden Retriever puppy.

Hello, We all love Kahlua. She loves to play fetch and gets along great with all of our goldens. Kahlua really likes playing with our male, Hawk, and our 2-year-old, Ellie. She is very good at coming when called and sits whenever she can to see if she can get a treat or get someone to pet her--very smart! I especially enjoy coming home from college to see her, every once and a while.Thank you for this wonderful puppy; she is so laid back--for a puppy!

Just to let you know that Maggie is now almost 9 months old and is doing fantastic. I am so grateful that I was able to find a breeder that truly cares about Golden Retrievers. MaMa Missy would be proud of her St. Patty's Day litter. I cannot say enough about the loving nature and good temperament of this Golden. People are constantly commenting about Maggie's dynamic personality. She is one loveable dog! Santa insisted on being in the picture with Maggie!

My husband and I purchased a golden from you back in March and I just wanted to give you an update on how Riley is doing! We are so happy with her. She is maturing nicely and is the best dog we could ask for. She loves walking and going rollerblading and especially playing with other dogs and all the kids in her life, which she gets to do a lot. Sadie is a beautiful, well behaved puppy. We get compliments on her where ever we go. The purchasing process went very smoothly. Anne kept us well informed from beginning to end. She answered all our questions. She and her family were also very accomadating. She scheduled a 4 week visit for everyone to come see the puppies, but we could not make it that day, so she let us come out to the farm a couple days earlier. I really appreciated that because my kids loved seeing the puppies. If we decide to get another Golden sometime, I know we will come back to the Gorenz family.

The Gorenz Family was very open to any questions I had, and I had a lot. They never had a problem with me requesting a visit and were very friendly when we did come out. I had some circumstances that prevented me from picking up the puppy on the intended pick up date and time and they were very flexible in trying to accommodate me. The puppies and adult Golden Retrievers at their house/farm seemed well cared for, happy and loved. The puppy we brought home is doing great and is so adorable that she is fawned over by all that see her. The veterinarian really likes her as well and says that she seems like she has been bred very well. All in all it was a good experience and I have already recommended the Gorenz Family Farm to a few people who were so impressed by our puppy that they are interested in purchasing one of the future puppies.
